Edinburgh meeting

Thanks to so many of our members for joining us in Edinburgh for our annual meeting where we enjoyed a varied programme of cutting edge neuroscience (including Irene Tracey on the pain matrix, Tara Spires-Jones on Alzheimer’s disease) and practical clinical updates, as well as re-connecting with colleagues from around the country.

Action on sustainability

The ABN recognises that the climate emergency is a major threat to global health and well-being and also that the health service is a major contributor to carbon emissions. We are a member of UK Health Action on Climate Change, and are beginning to develop a new sustainability strategy. We are interested in members’ views on how the ABN reacts to these challenges.
