Abstract

1. Consider the following case.

A 46 year old man presented with a six year history of stiffness in his legs and clumsiness. Figure 1 show his (a) T1 sagittal and (b,c) T2 axial MR images. What is the cause of this man’s symptoms?

2. Please study Fig. 2.

A 24 year old man is admitted to the emergency department having been found unconscious with a suicide note. The admitting doctor could not see a pupillary response in either eye and asks you to review.
