We present a patient who developed cerebral radiation necrosis after protracted fluoroscopy during repeated embolisations of an extracranial arteriovenous malformation. Treatment with bevacizumab (a humanised murine monoclonal antibody against vascular endothelial growth factor) was followed by neurological and radiological improvements.
