The neurological reflection ‘A massage from Queen Square’ stimulated my own contemplation of the origins and development of physiotherapy as a profession. The Massage School at the National Hospital for the Relief and Cure of the Paralysed and Epileptic would have belonged to the Incorporated Society of Trained Masseuses, which was formed in 1900.
