The Association of British Neurologists (ABN) meeting in Birmingham attracted just under 800 delegates—a new record. A great venue, good weather and a programme packed with matters of interest all contributed to a successful meeting. Time was invested during the Annual General Meeting and the business session to facilitate discussion on Acute Neurology following on from last year’s ABN Acute Neurology report (https://www.theabn.org/news/abn-acute-neurology-report.html) as well as discussion on Getting It Right First Time (http://gettingitrightfirsttime.co.uk/medical-specialties/neurology/) led by Geraint Fuller.
